KMCT Medical College has become the first medical institution in Kerala to receive the prestigious QS I-Gauge Diamond Rating. The achievement highlights the institution’s focus on quality medical education, research, and student development.
QS I-Gauge is India’s higher education rating system developed by QS Quacquarelli Symonds (QS). It evaluates colleges and universities based on different quality standards and helps students make informed decisions while choosing higher education institutions.
The evaluation is based on key parameters including Teaching & Learning, Employability, Research & Innovation, Diversity, and Facilities. Institutions undergo a detailed assessment before the ratings are awarded.
Established in 2008, KMCT Medical College is one of the leading private medical colleges in the country. The college has an annual intake of 250 MBBS students and 100 postgraduate seats, and attracts students from across India.
The institution also holds NAAC A Grade and KUHS QAS A+ Accreditation, besides meeting all the requirements of the statutory and affiliating bodies.
The QS I-Gauge Diamond Rating was awarded after evaluating the college’s academic practices, administration, research activities, infrastructure, and student support systems. The recognition once again highlights KMCT Medical College’s consistent efforts to maintain high standards in medical education.
Being the first medical institution in Kerala to receive the QS I-Gauge Diamond Rating marks a defining moment in KMCT Medical College’s journey of academic excellence.
