The newly established office spaces of the KMCT Innovation & Incubation Council (KIIC) and the KMCT Centre for International Affairs (KCIA) were inaugurated by Dr. Navas KM, Chairman, KMCT Group of Institutions.
The new offices are part of KMCT Group of Institutions’ continued efforts to provide holistic education and build an ecosystem that enables students to identify their aspirations and access the right guidance and opportunities to achieve them. Bodies such as the Directorate of Research, KIIC and KCIA play an important role in creating this ecosystem by strengthening research, collaboration, innovation, incubation and international engagement.
With a dedicated working framework for these areas, the newly established offices will provide a focused space for discussions, coordination and collaboration, while creating clearer pathways for students and faculty to explore opportunities and translate their ideas and aspirations into meaningful outcomes.
The new office space has been established within the KMCT Dental College premises.
The inauguration was followed by a briefing on the objectives, functions, activities and areas of engagement of KIIC and KCIA. The session provided an overview of the initiatives undertaken by the two entities and highlighted opportunities for greater participation and collaboration across various KMCT institutions.
KMCT Innovation & Incubation Council (KIIC) serves as the central innovation, incubation and intellectual property (IP) translation platform of KMCT Group of Institutions. KIIC aims to bridge academic research and enterprise by empowering faculty members, students and healthcare professionals to transform innovative ideas and research outcomes into market-ready solutions.
The KMCT Centre for International Affairs (KCIA) focuses on expanding global opportunities for students and faculty by strengthening international collaborations, partnerships and academic engagements. Through its initiatives, KCIA aims to provide greater exposure to international academic opportunities and promote meaningful global connections across the KMCT community.
