KMCT Kasaragod Campus Inaugurated by Minister Adv. P.A. Mohammed Riyas
To address the long standing challenge faced by students in Kasaragod, who for years had to travel long distances to access quality higher education due to the lack of good institutions in the district, KMCT Group of Institutions has established its seventh campus in Kasaragod. The campus was officially inaugurated by the Minister of Public Works Department and Tourism, Adv. P.A. Mohammed Riyas. The event also marked the launch of the first institution on the campus, KMCT College of Engineering and Management, which has already secured KTU affiliation and AICTE approval, ensuring strong academic standards and recognition. Several more institutions are planned to come up within the campus in the near future, expanding opportunities for students across North Kerala. The new KMCT campus offers state-of-the-art academic facilities and affordable fee structure, making quality education accessible to students from economically weaker backgrounds. This initiative aims to empower local youth, support their academic aspirations, and open doors to global career opportunities. During the inauguration ceremony, Minister Mohammed Riyas highlighted the Kerala Government’s long term initiatives to enhance employability, innovation, and skill development among students. He also applauded KMCT for supporting the government’s vision and for establishing a transformative educational ecosystem in Kasaragod. The ceremony was attended by a host of dignitaries from various fields, including elected representatives and senior officials. Among those present were Dr. K. Moidu, Founder Chairman of KMCT Group of Institutions, Dr. Navas K.M., Chairman of KMCT Group, Dr. U.T. Iftikhar, Chairman of the Karnataka State Allied & Healthcare Council, MLAs, and local panchayat leaders. With this new campus, KMCT continues its goal of delivering world class education, uplifting communities, and contributing to the socio-economic development of North Kerala. The Kasaragod campus is expected to become a centre for good learning, innovation, and opportunities for everyone. It will help many students build a bright future and contribute to the development of the region.
